We are sad to announce that former Councillor Chris Greenhill, who was Deputy Mayor when he resigned from the Town Council on health grounds in October, has died. Chris was a much-valued colleague, using his extensive professional knowledge of planning to chair our Planning and Highways Committee. He also chaired the Journeys and Destinations Working Party and instigated the town centre 20mph project. In addition, he led the working group which provided the successful Climate Change Weekend last June.
Our thoughts are with his wife and family.
