The rain may have stopped our group session the other week but bad weather has not managed to stop all our work around town. On Tuesday last week Julian cleared the winter bedding from the semicircle beds in Exchange Square and on Wednesday Tricia, Caroline and Kate managed to put in the summer geraniums before it poured. On Thursday it was the War Memorial’s turn to have its summer display planted up by Neil and Teresa. In between times we managed to spruce up a couple of the wooden planters at the Quay and the Twinning Association planter outside the Town Hall. It didn’t stop there. On Saturday afternoon Claire and Sally did overtime putting a good selection of new plants into the Blyburgate car park entrance garden to take it through the summer.
