Beccles Fenland Charity Trust are pleased to say that they have agreed a new contractor to manage the car park at Beccles Quay. The arrangements include a new payment kiosk, which takes both cash and card payments – the first car park in Beccles to accept card payments. The new contractor, Hozah, also offer payment via their website. The online payment has two options – customers can pay just for that day’s parking, or alternatively they can register with Hozah, which will mean that they never have to log on again, as the system will recognise their car automatically and charge the relevant amount to their payment card.
At the same time, the Trust has created five dedicated spaces in the car park for pre-booked motorhomes to stay overnight. We are pleased to be working with Campra Rally Group, a club for motorhome users, to promote this facility. This is another first for Beccles, as other car parks in towns do not have spaces for motorhomes. We ask that motorists using the car park do not park in the motorhome spaces, which are marked with yellow posts.
